• After graduating in 1955 started work with Anglo American Corporation in Kitwe, Zambia.

• Appointed Superintendent, Research & Development in 1967 and

• Superintendent Rokana Smelter 1969.

• In 1972 appointed Consulting Metallurgist, Mindeco in Lusaka.

• Moved to Australia in 1974 to take up the position of Consulting Metallurgist with Peko Wallsend Ltd.

• Worked in South Africa 1976/77 firstly for Matthey Rustenburg Platinum then with Delkor.

• Returned to Australia in 1978 to start Delkor’s operations in Australia.

• Left Delkor in 1979 to become Managing Director of Enclear Pty Ltd.

• Became Managing Director of Larox P/L in November 1982 and

• Managing Director of Supaflo P/L in 1988.
